A well-known FOSS activist, since the formation of EGLUG in 2004. Worked as a SysAdmin till he started his own startup in 2010, Spirula Systems, which explicity works in FOSS technologies.
He's also a co-founder of OpenEgypt, an initiative to write a strategy to shift the Egyptian IT ecosystem twords FOSS. In the same time he's a part of the consulting committee in MCIT working for the same purpose, writing a strategy to shift the Egyptian government twords FOSS.
Soledad is a Senior App Engineer at Mozilla, where she builds and helps people build Open Web Apps. In her free time she likes to explore new and upcoming Web APIs, and make things that run in real-time, if possible.
